Sun, August 4, 2019 | 8:30AM – 1130AM
Featuring Jesse Kates, Shift Yoga Studio | Lynn Punturiere, Aiyana Horse Center
Join in as Jesse, self care pioneer starts the workshop by taking us through a class like nothing you’ve ever experienced before in yoga. Myofascial release is a cutting edge self-care practice that uses small, soft round balls to compress and unlock deep restriction in the tissues surrounding our muscles and joints. In this innovative class we are taken through simple yoga stretches, paying attention to where we feel “stuck” in our tissues. We will be expertly guided through release techniques using myofascial release tools (provided on site) to flush out restriction and set the body free in a deep meaningful way.
Lynn will wrap up the workshop with horse guided activities to help us deepen our capacity to lean in and listen through the power of pause. Learn the grammar of non-verbal communication with horses as you shift perspective and grow in this heartfelt class.
Spots are limited to ensure personal attention.
Wear comfortable clothing for the weather and bring closed toe sneakers or shoes. This class is for all levels and horse experience is not needed. Bring a large towel or blanket and/or yoga mat if you have one. Horse activities are in a covered arena for shade.
