This was just another very interesting session—thank you! I found some relaxation in both poses. For the stretched legs position: I could tell that this kind of relaxed stretching has become much easier and much more agreeable for me during the last three years as I have been doing physical therapy exercises and yoga for riders. I used to be pretty unflexible in my hip joints so that I couldn‘t easily let my lower back get long in that stretching pose. Now I find it even relaxing to stay in that pose for quite some time. It was fun playing around with either the hands or the feet doing the stretching work for the body.
As for the other pose on the floor with my hands against the wall: I liked the feeling of becoming smoother in my pelvis’ steps and my shoulder blades’ steps. First they felt a little awkward and clumsy, then they got smoother and more graceful. But on the downside was that I could clearly feel the general tightness in my left arm (I got some lymphatic knots removed in the arm pit and I also got radiation on the left side because this is where the cancer was). Ever since my left side is tighter than my right side and I can feel this tightness in certain movements. When I breathe into these areas the tension lessens a bit.
After our movements I felt grounded, in control, and more settled than before. All restlessness had gone.
Thanks again and looking forward to our next session!
